The travel industry is a well worn path with lots of options for travelers to conduct research. Travel magazines like Afar do a great job connecting readers with the endless travel possibilities. Where they fall short is it is often catered towards clientele that are looking for a 5 star experience from start to finish. Now, there is nothing wrong with this if someone can afford it, however there has been a grown trend in the travel industry and a shift has taken place from those looking for posh accommodations and restaurants to a more experiential type of traveler. With that in mind Ramble is designed to cater towards this demographic, the millennial and experience seekers. As magazines have adapted to a world where print is less and less in demand digital versions of the magazines are very important. Here a tablet version of Ramble was made.
The development of the Ramble aesthetic was centralized around finding a bright, lively, clean and approachable brand that was easily adaptable with each publication and for different needs beyond the printed edition of Ramble. Logotype and body copy were produced predominately in sans-serif type in order to maintain a minimalistic layout and increase legibility across the publication
